Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and post nightly journal entries and general ledger entries.
- Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports for leadership review.
- Perform regular audits of financial records to ensure compliance with internal policies and GAAP.
- Manage and organize electronic and physical financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and accurately during night shifts.
- Attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
