Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger (GL) entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies and procedures.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during their reviews.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) required.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and accurately during night shift hours.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
