Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes with zero-tolerance for discrepancies
- Oversee GL reconciliations and financial reporting for 200+ accounts
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Lead cross-departmental audits with external regulatory bodies
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Develop automated workflows to streamline accounting processes
- Mentor junior staff on financial best practices and system proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA or active CPA pursuit
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with night shift preference
- Expert proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and advanced Excel modeling
- Proven track record in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge with audit experience
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex financial scenarios
- Ability to thrive in autonomous, high-pressure environments
- Preferred: MBA or master's in taxation/finance
