Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll entries and manage employee timekeeping systems for the night shift team.
- Conduct monthly financial close procedures, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Support the external audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in general accounting or finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) on a full-time basis.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a plus but not required.
