In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date during the critical overnight hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and audit payroll entries for night shift staff and departmental expenses.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and year-end audits.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents and invoices.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data efficiently.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure a smooth transition of financial duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is a plus.
