Responsibilities
- Perform nightly financial reconciliation, including bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process and verify Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements for management review.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, specifically focusing on shift-related data.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and relevant tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the day-shift finance team to resolve discrepancies and ensure data continuity.
- Support external auditors and tax preparations during busy seasons.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or finance.
- Must be available and willing to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or similar).
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex financial problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
