Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with high precision and accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze variances to support executive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and federal regulations.
- Maintain and update financial databases and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
