Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate time tracking for all night shift employees.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure all audit trails are complete and secure.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly to ensure cash flow accuracy.
- Support the finance team with month-end close activities and special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a quiet environment.
