As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity during off-hours. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare monthly reports in a calm, low-stress setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices accurately and timely.
- Prepare and audit financial reports and tax documents for the following morning shift.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (Night Shift experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a night shift environment.
