Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations with zero tolerance for errors.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Generate financial statements and reports for senior management review.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handover of financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and accurately during night shift hours.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
