Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures during the designated night shift.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post necessary journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company policies.
- Perform routine audits of financial data to identify discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 1-3 years of prior accounting experience, preferably in a night shift or high-volume environment.
- Must be available to work nights (e.g., 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
