As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly financial reconciliations and variance analysis on general ledger accounts.
- Process high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions with strict accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, trial balances, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate audit trails for all financial transactions processed during the shift.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes to meet strict deadlines.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve discrepancies and ensure data continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
