As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting our operational excellence across the United States. We pride ourselves on a culture of precision, transparency, and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Reconciliation: Perform high-volume account reconciliations, including bank statements and credit card transactions, ensuring 100% accuracy during off-peak hours.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports with a focus on detail and compliance.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices and payments efficiently, managing the full cycle of A/P and A/R to support cash flow management.
- Compliance & Auditing: Maintain strict adherence to GAAP standards and assist in internal and external audits by providing organized documentation.
- Payroll Oversight: Support the night shift payroll process by verifying hours and ensuring accurate compensation for the workforce.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the evening workflow and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting, with experience in night shift operations highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work a regular night shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and a commitment to error-free financial documentation.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with morning shift teams.
