Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation and closing procedures for multi-entity accounts
- Process and analyze financial transactions during overnight operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles for West Coast operations
- Coordinate with California-based teams for cross-state financial reporting
- Implement and maintain internal controls for night-shift accounting processes
- Support month-end/quarter-end closing activities with precision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in overnight shift environments
- CPA certification or active pursuit preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (CA/VA focus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
