Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Process and review payroll transactions during overnight shifts
- Generate daily financial reports and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing overnight
- Ensure SOX compliance for night shift financial activities
- Coordinate with external auditors during extended hours
- Maintain internal controls for after-hours financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of night shift accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Proven ability to work independently overnight
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
