Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze nightly financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness for the night shift operations.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank and general ledger reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Journal Entries: Process complex journal entries, accruals, and adjustments with a high degree of precision.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP standards and internal control policies.
- Inventory & Payables: Assist in the verification of inventory counts and the processing of vendor invoices during the night cycle.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) to reflect accurate operational data.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a related financial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Attention to Detail: Proven track record of accuracy in high-volume data processing environments.
