Responsibilities
- Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Process and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable cycles and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for audits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with night shift or alternative schedules
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
