Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision and timeliness
- Process high-volume transactions during evening hours including payroll, payables, and receivables
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for executive review
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures during night shift
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex accounting issues
- Maintain confidential financial records with utmost discretion
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in night shift or similar environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
