Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily transactions with precision and accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with day-time teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience with night shift preference
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with financial software (Sage 100 or NetSuite a plus)
