Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision accuracy
- Process month-end and year-end closing procedures independently
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements) for executive review
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis for operational departments
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide requested documentation
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and payment processing
- Develop financial models for budget forecasting and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit preferred
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
