- Research Translation: Collaborate with research scientists to take theoretical models from the lab to production environments.
- System Design: Build distributed training pipelines that can handle petabyte-scale data processing in real-time.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols to ensure data privacy and ethical AI usage.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Core Tech: Expert proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust.
- Frameworks: Deep experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX, and familiarity with model serving frameworks like vLLM or TGI.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI/ML systems architecture.
- Big Data: Strong understanding of distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and database technologies (PostgreSQL, Neo4j).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges in high-pressure environments.
