Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the development of the core technology stack for The 2026 Initiative, ensuring scalability and high-performance standards.
- Define and implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, microservices, and edge computing to support future-proof applications.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, providing technical mentorship and strategic direction for complex projects.
- Conduct rigorous system audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security protocols for sensitive data.
- Collaborate with product leadership to translate futuristic concepts into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating them into our existing architecture.
- Ensure 100% uptime and disaster recovery capabilities across all enterprise systems.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within high-tech environments.
- Deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning infrastructure, specifically regarding deployment and scalability.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Go, Rust) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong understanding of Quantum Computing concepts or willingness to rapidly adapt to quantum-ready architectures.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale distributed systems and leading diverse engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make high-stakes decisions.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
