Job Description
Join the Architects of Tomorrow
Apex Future Systems is seeking a visionary Lead AI Architect to spearhead our roadmap for 2026. We are not just building software; we are engineering the cognitive infrastructure of the next decade. If you thrive in ambiguity and are passionate about pushing the boundaries of Generative AI, Autonomous Agents, and Quantum-Ready Neural Networks, this is your mission.
In this role, you will define the technical strategy that transitions our systems from current capabilities to the cutting-edge standards required by 2026. You will work directly with C-level stakeholders to ensure our AI models are scalable, ethical, and future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen AI Infrastructure: Design and implement robust, scalable architectures for Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems tailored for the 2026 market landscape.
- Lead Technical Roadmap: Define the 2026 technical vision, translating business objectives into concrete engineering milestones and technical debt reduction strategies.
- Model Optimization & Efficiency: Spearhead research into model compression, edge computing integration, and low-latency inference pipelines to optimize for real-time applications.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish frameworks for AI safety, bias mitigation, and compliance with emerging global regulations, ensuring responsible deployment of autonomous agents.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Security, and Research teams to integrate advanced AI capabilities into core product ecosystems seamlessly.
- Mentorship & Culture: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, mentoring junior architects and fostering a deep understanding of future-proof technology stacks.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a Lead Architect or Principal Engineering role within AI/ML.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; experience with MLOps platforms (MLflow, Kubeflow) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- 2026 Vision: Demonstrated ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt architectures to emerging paradigms such as Neuromorphic Computing or Federated Learning.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex, unstructured problems in high-scale environments.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
