Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Monitor and maintain the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and within deadlines.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for internal and external audits.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA eligibility is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) required.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
