Responsibilities
- Assist with daily data entry and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems, both digital and physical.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with budget preparation.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding account status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to undergo on-the-job training.
