Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Support the tax preparation process by gathering necessary documentation.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting software and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Graduates with 0-2 years of experience preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required for this entry-level position.
