Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Support the tax preparation process for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Process expense reports and verify vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role, internship, or academic project experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus but not required.
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
