Responsibilities
- Assist with General Ledger Accounting: Support the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial records under supervision.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate and recorded timely.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and prepare payments while ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Bookkeeping Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing basic financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements for management review.
- Data Entry & Filing: Manage digital and physical filing systems, ensuring all financial documents are organized and accessible.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience required—we value potential and attitude over history.
- Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) is essential; familiarity with accounting software is a plus but not mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
