Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including data entry and categorization of transactions into accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts payable (processing invoices) and accounts receivable (collecting payments).
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate with clients regarding invoices, statements, and account status.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus).
- Basic computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and industry best practices.
