Responsibilities
- Assist in daily bookkeeping tasks, including processing accounts payable and receivable invoices.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s degree in progress is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables are preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
