Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and invoice processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process under supervision.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and audit schedules.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
