Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support financial statement preparation and analysis under supervision
- Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency
- Adhere to internal controls and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical accounting skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
