Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management and cash flow analysis.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and reporting systems.
- Provide financial guidance and support to management regarding budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
