Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage complex accounting operations including intercompany transactions and consolidations
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and internal reviews
- Provide financial insights and forecasting support to executive leadership
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
