Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with commentary on variances
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for multiple entities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax department to support quarterly/annual filings
- Conduct financial audits and provide process improvement recommendations
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-departmental financial training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP systems
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table mastery
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
