Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Oversee budget forecasting and variance analysis for department heads
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Lead audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
