Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Prepare monthly payroll reports for finance leadership
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Audit payroll processes quarterly for accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP or similar systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NJ payroll tax laws and FLSA compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Detail-oriented with 99.9% payroll accuracy track record
- Ability to manage deadlines in high-volume payroll cycles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
