Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (NC, SC, VA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and new hire onboarding paperwork
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and auditors
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and timekeeping systems
- Stay updated on FLSA, DOL, and ACA requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with ADP or similar systems
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of multi-state tax compliance (NC focus)
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Experience with garnishment processing and wage orders
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
