Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions, taxes, and benefits contributions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Generate payroll reports for management and auditors
- Ensure compliance with Alaska state and federal labor laws
- Onboard new hires with payroll setup and tax form processing
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience (ADP preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Alaska state tax regulations (AS 43.05)
- FPC or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Proven attention to detail with 0% error tolerance
- Ability to manage sensitive financial data with confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex payroll scenarios
