Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across 15+ client portfolios
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees
- Ensure compliance with Alaska state tax regulations
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and Alaska tax codes
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or QuickBooks certification preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
