Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations and tax filings
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-volume environments
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) a plus
