Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with strict attention to accuracy and deadlines
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain meticulous financial records using QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Demonstrated success in meeting tight deadlines during month-end/quarter-end closes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience with internal controls and compliance procedures
