The Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes with high accuracy.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation preparation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
