Responsibilities
- Process high-volume transactions with exceptional accuracy and efficiency
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service
- Identify and cross-sell banking products (loans, credit cards, investments)
- Resolve client inquiries and escalate complex issues to management
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Contribute to branch performance goals through service excellence
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of banking or financial services experience
- Proven track record in cash handling and transaction processing
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA, AML)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Associate's degree in Finance or related field preferred
- Proficiency in banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Valid Michigan Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
