Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Process and record invoices into the accounting system (QuickBooks/SAP).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer within agreed terms.
- Assist in the month-end close process and generate AP aging reports.
- Maintain organized vendor files and contact records.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
