Job Description
Are you ready to architect the digital reality of tomorrow? In 2026, the convergence of quantum supremacy and advanced artificial intelligence is not just a possibility—it is the standard. Aether Dynamics is seeking a visionary Head of Quantum & AI Systems to lead our next-generation infrastructure initiatives.
We are looking for a strategic leader who can bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical application. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap that integrates quantum processing units (QPUs) with massive-scale neural networks, ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, and future-proof.
If you possess the foresight to anticipate the technological shifts of 2026 and beyond, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for quantum and AI integration, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead a world-class team of engineers, data scientists, and quantum physicists to build proprietary algorithms.
- Architect scalable, fault-tolerant systems capable of handling exascale computing loads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify high-impact use cases for quantum-enhanced AI.
- Establish security protocols and compliance standards for emerging quantum encryption technologies.
- Drive innovation through R&D partnerships and academic collaborations.
- Mentor senior leadership and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in AI/ML or Quantum Computing.
- Deep technical knowledge of quantum computing concepts, such as superposition, entanglement, and qubit manipulation.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technical teams and managing complex engineering roadmaps.
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong background in Python, C++, or Rust, with familiarity in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is highly preferred.
