We are seeking a visionary Head of Future Technology to lead our strategic initiatives aimed at defining our technological landscape for the year 2026. As a premier tech firm in San Francisco, we are looking for a leader who can bridge the gap between current innovation and our long-term 2026 roadmap. You will be responsible for identifying emerging trends, evaluating disruptive technologies, and steering our engineering teams toward a future-proof vision.
In this role, you will act as the primary architect of our '2026 Vision,' ensuring our products and services remain ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving digital ecosystem. You will collaborate with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams to drive adoption of next-generation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Technology Strategy for 2026, aligning technical capabilities with business goals.
- Lead research and analysis on emerging technologies, including Agentic AI, quantum computing, and Web3 integration.
- Define the long-term technical roadmap, identifying high-impact opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Oversee the transition of experimental technologies into production-grade products.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists, data scientists, and strategic engineers.
- Communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and board members.
- Establish partnerships with leading tech research institutions and innovation labs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a strategic planning or executive management role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology roadmaps and digital transformations.
- Deep understanding of future tech trends, specifically AI evolution and digital infrastructure.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in Strategic Planning or Technology Management is a plus.
