Responsibilities

- R&D Leadership: Spearhead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives for futuristic technologies, evaluating their viability and potential integration into our product ecosystem.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor global technology trends, patent filings, and academic research to anticipate disruptive shifts in the tech landscape.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex future scenarios into clear, compelling business cases for executive leadership and investors.
- Team Building: Recruit and mentor a world-class team of futurists and strategists dedicated to exploring the unknown.
- Partnerships: Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, R&D, or product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on emerging technology trends years before they become mainstream.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field; Master’s degree or PhD is a strong plus.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex, forward-looking concepts to diverse audiences, from engineers to C-suite executives.
- Innovation: Demonstrated passion for emerging technologies including AI, Blockchain, Quantum, or Synthetic Biology.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where the future is being written.
