Responsibilities
- Define and execute the 2026 AI technology roadmap, aligning engineering efforts with long-term business objectives.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance AI infrastructure capable of handling next-generation workloads.
- Lead a team of senior engineers and data scientists in developing cutting-edge machine learning models and generative AI solutions.
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to identify high-impact opportunities for AI integration across business units.
- Establish best practices for AI governance, ethics, and compliance in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous innovation and technical excellence.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Agentic AI, Edge Computing) to ensure Apex remains ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within AI/ML.
- Deep expertise in designing large-scale distributed systems and machine learning pipelines.
- Proven track record of successfully deploying Generative AI or Large Language Model (LLM) applications at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into strategic business value.
- Demonstrated experience in building diverse and inclusive engineering teams.
