- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author whitepapers on technology's societal impact and mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of speculative innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in foresight or futurism roles
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating technology-to-market translation success
